Mike Boehmer, Guitar/Vocals

For over 30 years, Mike has played his way south from Chicago, with long stops in St. Louis and Orange Beach, AL soaking up musical mojo, and now to Melbourne, FL.  Through thousands of performances, a core of special songs has been collected.  Some are famous, some original, but they all weave into a musical story of American life.  You can view this list on here on our site.  We know many more songs, and are even known to DJ when the time is right...

Kenny "Butch" Appling

Drums/Percussion

Butch has played drums since his teens in rural Oklahoma. He turned pro out of high school and went on the road for decades, playing Country, Rock, Jazz, R&B, and Texas Swing across most of the US. He has played the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman, the two 'Churches' of Country Music. He has toured with stars like Little Jimmy Dickens, Jody Miller, Ricky Nelson, Ernest Tubb, Kitty Wells, Peggy Sue, Sonny Wright, Charlie Walker, Jerry Clower and many more. Butch also has managed multiple music venues in NM and Nashville, and organized several house bands for his clubs. Since moving to Melbourne in 1986, he has played with local artists ther Bel Airs, Bobby Penn, Jimmy Hamrick, Little Joe Alberts, Dave Fiester, Pat Malarky, Dvid Muncoff, Sam Gorman and many more. For the Teletonics, Butch has taken up the Congas in addition to the traditional drum kit.

Craig Nielsen, Bass Guitar

Hailing from Melbourne Beach, FL, Craig is the original Teletonics Bassist, adding his unique touches to the music. He can also be seen on stage in our local worship bands.
